Our Partners Foundation for Sustainable Development Altai - this is our sister organization in the Altai Republic. The Altai Project is a part of the Center for Safe Energy , a project of Earth Island Institute. The Altai Project's central purpose is to support local citizens' efforts to protect their natural and cultural heritage through direct nature conservation and by educating and empowering the public to respect nature and meet their needs sustainably.
